Giving Thanks

Many writers are thankful for this...

While others are thankful for having plenty of this...

Others are grateful to be able to look up and enjoy a view like this...

While some are lucky enough to revel in this...

Most writers will always be thankful for this...

While some will always be grateful for this...

And no matter how it comes, all of us are thankful for this...

and that magical moment when we hold our first this.

So....

Here's my gift to those of you who, tomorrow, will be enjoying this...

I know you think what you're going to eat is this...

But, what if it's really this?

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends!

  1. Elspeth - Thank you for the good wishes. I can't, though, no I just can't get around the idea of making a meal from a cuddly monster. Noooooo!!!! I am grateful for friends like you - what a difference you make in this writer's journey.

  3. Margot; Ah, but what if you didn't know, and were eating it unawares? Take a good look at that 'bird' tomorrow before you put it in the oven...

Book Bird Dog; He does, doesn't he? Maybe he's a Thanksgiving survivor.

  9. Now I no longer work for a USian company, I rarely get to indulge in Thanksgiving dinner. But I'm thankful for a Sandbox and good chums to play in it with.
