When you're busy doing this...
It's very easy to feel like this...
or...
(let's be honest)
Our writing to get a wee tad this...
SO...
Take a moment to do this...
And do your equivalent of this...
Go outside and count the new this...
JUST TAKE A MOMENT...
and trust me...
Your writing will go from this...
to this.
Or...
At least, you'll feel better.
It's a start.
So true!

ReplyDeleteOh yes! And we have our second nesting of white wing doves in a hanging basket on the patio.
ReplyDeleteElspeth - Yes!!!!!!!!!!! I agree so strongly that it's important to re-invigourate ourselves. Even if it's only for ten minutes, it's so important to just "switch gears" once in a while. Chocolate helps, too ;-).
ReplyDeleteGiggles; Laughter is always good.
ReplyDeleteSheila; How I wish I was joking about the dandelions. I have a bumper crop.
Carol; That's enchanting!
Margot; Breaks are so important, aren't they? I find getting outside, even for a few minutes, can give me a new shot of energy. Of course, there are those summer days when I say "To heck with it" and just go out and lay in a hammock.
I'm watching snow flurries outside right now. Think I'll find another way to take my break.

ReplyDeleteThis is so true. We have had several days of beautiful cool mornings, and I have really enjoyed my early morning walk and all the wildflowers blooming along the side of the county road I walk on. It makes my day go so much better.
