Take a Breath

When you're busy doing this...

It's very easy to feel like this...

or...

(let's be honest)

Our writing to get a wee tad this...

SO...

Take a moment to do this...

And do your equivalent of this...

Or do this...

Go outside and count the new this...

Although if you're me, it's easier to count the new this...

Listen for this...

JUST TAKE A MOMENT...

and trust me...

Your writing will go from this...

to this.

Or...

At least, you'll feel better.

It's a start.

  4. Elspeth - Yes!!!!!!!!!!! I agree so strongly that it's important to re-invigourate ourselves. Even if it's only for ten minutes, it's so important to just "switch gears" once in a while. Chocolate helps, too ;-).

  5. Giggles; Laughter is always good.

Sheila; How I wish I was joking about the dandelions. I have a bumper crop.

    Carol; That's enchanting!

Margot; Breaks are so important, aren't they? I find getting outside, even for a few minutes, can give me a new shot of energy. Of course, there are those summer days when I say "To heck with it" and just go out and lay in a hammock.

  9. This is so true. We have had several days of beautiful cool mornings, and I have really enjoyed my early morning walk and all the wildflowers blooming along the side of the county road I walk on. It makes my day go so much better.
