  2. Thanks for those wonderful inspirational quotes!! Now I'm really "pumped." : ). I like this one from Agatha Christie: "The best time to plan a book is while you’re doing the dishes." Such a real-life quote : ). Oh, and did you know her first novel was rejected 20 times? Keep pressing onward, fellow writers!

  4. Carol; Isn't it great?

Margot; Thanks for the Christie quote; that one is new for me. Thanks also for the knowledge that even she was rejected.

Patricia; I had to include a Sorkin quote. The man is pure genius with dialogue.

Crystal; I'm glad you liked them!

  7. Love all these. I've quoted the Mark Twain one before myself. And the glint of the moon shining off the glass - great stuff. Writing can be so much more interesting when we use subte ways to show rather than just "tell," hmm?

  17. Wonderful selection of quotes. Thank you.
My guiding quote these days is "the miracle is not that I finished, but that I had the courage to start." Seems to hold through for everything I am doing these days.
