5 Links for Writers

There's so much writing wisdom out there in the blogosphere that I thought I'd use today's post to point you in the direction of some interesting stops I made last week. I hope you find them useful!

Some wise words from two Curtis Brown literary agents about how you can only make your debut once - so make it count. http://www.ideastap.com/ideasmag/the-knowledge/curtis-brown-agents

An interesting discussion about the role of editors for those writers considering self-publishing. http://bloodredpencil.blogspot.com/2012/02/cues-from-coach-whats-editor-worth.html

Writing guru KM Weiland gives some punctuation tips: http://wordplay-kmweiland.blogspot.com/2012/02/writers-guide-to-punctuation.html

The amazing Margot Kinberg shares her thoughts (and encyclopedic knowledge) about past and present trends in crime fiction: http://margotkinberg.wordpress.com/2012/02/04/its-the-same-old-story-but-its-told-a-different-way/

Okay, I admit this one is a bit of a cheat - but you can't do better than Elizabeth Spann Craig's weekly post summarizing what she's discovered on the net and put up in her twitter feed. I don't know where she finds the time! I also don't know what I'd do without her. Thanks, Elizabeth. http://mysterywritingismurder.blogspot.com/2012/02/twitterific_12.html

  2. This is my third or fourth time back to your blog today. I kept clicking on links then x-ed out instead of returning. It's that kind of day. Great links, though! Thanks.
