Wow! Lots of interesting facts. I don't know why the one about hearing going last when we die makes me feel sad. And I guess there are no fat astronauts then. HA!
ReplyDeleteI need to live at the equator. And I hope I never find myself at the bottom of a well.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
I confess I read these with a mind to the date, but I trust you did your homework!

Lauri; I had the same reaction to the 'hearing going last' fact. Odd. Let's hope the last thing any of us hears is words of love.
ReplyDeleteCarol; I think if I was down a well, I would not be spending my time looking up at the stars.
Terry; No jokes today! Why be predictable?
Mona Lisa shaved her eyebrows? How cool is that!
ReplyDeleteElspeth - Oh, these are absolutely fascinating!! I especially like the one about drinking water after meals - really interesting!! Oh, and I am now moving to the equator ;-).
ReplyDeleteLuana; She was Whoopi Goldberg's forerunner!
ReplyDeleteMargot; I'll see you there.
I am sure all these facts will help me a lot in my research for a historical novel; thank you ;)
ReplyDeleteI lost my eyebrows when my propane stove blew up. It made me look perpetually surprised. Not a look I'd go after on purpose...

Jan Morrison
Dorte; There's an added bonus - I was just hoping to amuse.
ReplyDeleteJan; I *know* that shouldn't have made me smile, but it did. Propane stove explosions are not smiling matters. You're having an April Fool's Storm? The same thing seems to be happening everywhere in BC but in my small corner - snow forecast for everywhere but here! Keep warm, my cherished friend.
What a great list. As I started to read the post, I was eating an almond, so I can verify that left-handed people do chew on the left side. LOL
ReplyDeleteMis-read the one about astronauts at first, and thought you had written that they could not bitch. I was really curious as to why not.
Perhaps it was not QUITE true - but it was a brilliant excuse, wasnt it?
ReplyDeleteMaryann; That would be nasty for astronauts if it were true - thanks for the laugh!
ReplyDeleteDorte; Hey, I believed it!
I lie well - I am a writer of crime fiction!
ReplyDeleteBut I might have learned loads of useful stuff if I hadn´t set my new story in Berlin, 1938.
Dorte; Berlin, 1938? Colour me intrigued. Have you read the Bernie Gunther mysteries? Fantastic for research and for entertainment!
