Here are a few images I discovered from a menu for Thanksgiving dinner 1930, in the Hotel Eagle, which was located in Brunswick, Maine. I found it fascinating.
For those of you celebrating, have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Looks like a delectable feast. We're going to be with family this year -- and my son is cooking.

Terry; That sounds nice; and what a win for you!
ReplyDeleteMason; Isn't the cover wonderful?
Elspeth - What a sumptuous meal!! And that is a lovely menu cover :-). It must have taken such effort to put together a meal like that and design that menu. I'll bet that was a most posh place. Thanks for sharing - and for the good wishes.
ReplyDeleteMargot; It sounds fairly posh, doesn't it? Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteThey really did know how to do things in style, didn't they?
