Computer Problems
TECH SUPPORT: Hi, how can I help you?
CALLER: Last night my computer started making a lot of hissing noises at me so I shut it down. This morning when I turned it on the computer started hissing and cracking, then started smoking and a bad smell, then nothing.
TECH SUPPORT: I will have a technician come over first thing this morning. Leave the computer just like it is, so they can find the problem and fix it, or change it out with another computer. Give me your address; phone number and the technician will be there just as soon as he can.
When the technician got there, the lady showed him where the computer was, said what happened to it ... this is what the technician found wrong.
Take a look at the pictures...
Elspeth - Yikes!!!! That snake thing is...a unique kind of problem. I'm not typically a very squeamish person but I think that would unsettle me. I must admit, I have never had that kind of a tech. problem...Of course, if the snake and the mouse are in the same home, you could have a self-correcting problem ;-)
ReplyDeleteOMG! Both of those made me lift my feet off the floor...just in case.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the weekend!
I lifted my feet off the floor too, Carol! Yes, and I hope that the problems are under warranty. I have never seen a snake clause in the warranty section.

Margot; I had that thought as well. But still...eeeeeeek!
ReplyDeleteCarol; I know! Nasty.
Clarissa; One wonders what the warrantee people would rule...
If they're in the same house the problem is solved. Who cares? I don't want either one much less both.
ReplyDeleteGave me goosebumps. (Is that another animal?)
Loved those pictures! I *think* my attack cats would catch the intruders before they hid in my computer. *adds cat treats to shopping list*
ReplyDeleteLaura; Just another reasons cats rule!
ReplyDeleteYuck! I don´t have a snake or a mouse phobia, but somehow they look really tacky there.
ReplyDeleteI'll take the snake over the mouse any day. Makes me glad I have a laptop.

Thoughts in Progress
A computer story to put ice in the veins of a writer. Great pics. I'm with Mason and the laptop. Not much can get into those little critters..:)
ReplyDeleteDorte; I've never trusted snakes; creatures with too many legs or not enough legs are suspect.
ReplyDeleteMason; I'm glad I have one too!
L'Aussie; Yes! Huzzah for laptops! They may get warm, but there isn't many places a critter could hide!
Both of those scenarios are downright creepy. I don't like the thought of having critters in computer or printer.
ReplyDeleteI would totally freak right out!
ReplyDeleteGreat. Only thing wrong is that you posted this on Friday and I'm only now getting over here to read it. Still not into my routine.
