Wherein I endeavour to share writerly advice lightened with humour, pictures and a dollop of 1930s-1940s history.
Elspeth - Thank you for the much-needed laughter : ). I just love those signs; I really, really do. I love the "Road Closed to Ease Congestion" sign because of its delicious irony. I also love the "Stop" sign with all of the no-turn arrows because of just how dead-end-real-life that is. I would love to see one of these Fun Friday featuring bumper stickers; they're hysterical, too.
Nothing happened, eh? Sounds like the edits on my manuscript.
Love these -- I've actually been at intersections very similar to that stop sign one.
Oh these are great. It's hard to pick just one.MasonThoughts in Progress
I Love the swimming or whatever sign that was.CD
Thanks for the laugh!
Wow! My favorite is the stop sign with no where to go or turn.
Very funny!Thank you.
As Carol says ... But no 6 was the first one that struck me as a metaphor of a baaaad writing day ;D
LOL. These were great.
Oh, man. I missed these on Friday, but they're just as funny on Sunday! Thank you, Elspeth. How is your writing coming?MicheleSouthernCityMysteries
