Thirties Thursday
More fashions from 1938 - featuring many Norman Hartnell designs who went on to design for the present Queen for many years (including her wedding dress).
Elspeth - Such lovely colours and fabrics! And I love the sleek lines of some of those dresses. And the hats? Some of them are toooooo much, but somehow, they work. How'd they do that?
I love these Thursday history lessons. And fashion is a much "nicer" topic than political history, which I could never grasp. All those names and dates.

Margot; I think being able to wear hats is all about attitude.
ReplyDeleteTerry; I have always loved history and never had a problem with names and dates. Math was my waterloo.
